This past weekend, I attended the 2017 InterCHARM Beauty Expo in Coex. If you preregistered, like I did, admission was free. I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect. I figured it was worth checking out since it was nearby and free.
Overall, I had a good experience. I like beauty, and I’m fascinated by Korean skincare. However, I’m not obsessed with it. It was fun walking around and exploring all the products and vendors I have never heard of before. One of the best parts is that I felt that the products were affordable. If they were expensive, they were partially discounted as part of some expo discount.
The expo itself. It was much bigger than this, but I think you get the gist.
This was probably one of my favorite vendors. It wasn’t too different from typical Korean beauty products, as it was mostly sheet masks/ gel eye patches, but I thought these were cute. They were also super cheap. THE PUMPKIN MASK SMELLS AMAZING!!!!!!
These candles smelled amazing, and at 10,000 won for a small won, I felt like it was a good price. I’ve been burning it nonstop, My apartment smells light and floral.
I needed mascara, and at 3,000 won, this was a steal. It gets the job done, but I probably wouldn’t buy it again.
Hannah Pads! I’ve heard so much about these, and I always wanted to try them. I bought two. The people working there were so nice.
All in all, this was a cool experience. I would definitely go again next year. I wish I brought more money with me. A lot of vendors were cash only, and I was too lazy to go out of my way to an ATM.
