Seoul Lantern Festival

Last weekend, I had the opportunity to visit the Seoul Lantern Festival. One of the many great things about living in Seoul is that there is always something to do. Seriously. This city is so large that the FOMO is quite real. What’s also great is that because Seoul is very safe, walking around and exploring is totally an option.

The Seoul Lantern Festival is a great option if you 1) love exploring Seoul 2) enjoy walking and 3) want to do something fun for free. It’s also right near Insadong, so you can explore that strip (or get something great to eat) when you’re finished.

This year’s lantern theme is The PyeongChang 2018 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. If you’re interested in walking around and seeing the lanterns for yourself, it’s great to do it at night. Hurry, though, as this is the last weekend for it.
