Boseong Green Tea Fields and Bamboo Forest

Last Sunday, I visited the Boseong Green Tea Fields and Bamboo Forest. I’m glad I visited in the fall because there was a lot of uphill walking involved. It was absolutely beautiful, and the smell is a nice respite if you’re coming in from the city. It’s also a very affordable day trip at less than ₩5,000.

If you love green tea, there are well-stocked gift shops with all sorts of green tea items. In traditional Korean fashion, there are also cute cafes where you can sit and relax with some green tea goodness.

When you first enter.

Although I have had plenty of green tea lattes before, this was my first time trying a green tea churro. Definitely recommend!

I was a little hesitant about trying this. It’s donkatsu but with green tea rice and green tea sprinkled on top of the donkatsu. It was actually a very subtle flavor and it blended in nicely.
